Through sacred movement and chanting, our bodies will experience new ways of engaging with Mystery!
During this offering, we will be invited to enliven our connection to the Divine and Sacred Earth through several short body prayers, sacred gestures, chants, and guided meditation. There will also be opportunities to explore the Stillpoint grounds and labyrinths, journal and create art. We will go home with several practical ways of deepening our own spiritual expression and practice.
Event Details
This event will be held in Stillpoint’s sanctuary and, if weather allows, we will be out in nature much of our time together.
Facilitators:
Denise Plaisier, one of the earliest members of Stillpoint, has served on its Discernment Team for several years. It has been through her ongoing engagement with this community that she became more aware of a resonance with the Wisdom Tradition (https://wisdomwaypoints.org/) and Christian mysticism. Denise is grateful for the spiritual nourishment she receives from the natural world and this loving community.
Karyn Teed, a musician, singer and registered nurse, grew up in the valley of Nisqually tribal lands surrounded by evergreen trees and 20 acres of our imagination which nurtured her soul’s love for animals and sacred earth. Music, chanting, and leading community worship have woven through her life’s journey.
