All are invited to Stillpoint’s offering of a Celtic Circle on Sunday, June 23 at 10:30am. Our gathering will be a communion service (Eucharist) of the historic Christian Church through the lens of Celtic Spirituality. This lens invites us to open to the natural world as a way to experience how God is present in Every part of creation, including ourselves.

Through poetry, prayers and sacred conversation, being on the land and creating Eucharist together, we will share in a multilayered experience of community and communion and Mystery. This first offering will focus on the theme of “Thin Place,” a concept which is found in many spiritual expressions including Celtic Spirituality.

Facilitator:

Elaine Breckenridge, a retired Episcopalian priest living on Camano Island who has been deeply served by the writings of Ray Simpson and has actively engaged in creating and leading Celtic Christian liturgy for many years. Elaine sees Celtic Spirituality as a theological worldview which she has adopted as part of her own spiritual path and practice, and she is thrilled to be facilitating the Celtic Circle at Stillpoint.

Small donations will be gratefully received and given to Elaine for her expenses related to this ministry offering, including travel expenses.
