What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is a sacred conversation that can help you deepen trust in your experiences of seeing and responding to Mystery. Spiritual direction welcomes what is occurring in your life now as well as what inner awarenesses you notice and what is present in your heart.
This is a ministry of “holy listening” in which you will be companioned as you tell your sacred stories. A spiritual director is trained to listen to and honor the wisdom each person holds. Spiritual direction helps you learn how to live in peace, with compassion, promoting justice, as humble, grateful servants of that which lies beyond all names.
Exploring this experience of being human in the presence of a sacred companion is an ancient practice.
